Magnetic Filter

I'm after opinions on which magnetic filter system is viewed as being the best. I've searched various forums and all I can find are posts going back several years and I'm hoping things have moved on a little.

My main reason for asking is out of 4 people that I know to have an Adey Magnaclean fitted 2 have had problems with them leaking.

I'm having a new boiler fitted and it is going in the loft so any leaks or problems will not be apparent until too late.

Hmmm not had any leaks on my Magnaclean... it does trap particals aswell as I've cleaned it out on a few occasions, my plumber mate also connected it up to the large one off cleaner magnets, again no leaks.

Not had any leaking problems with the Magnaclean.

However, I recently got the pressure loss charts for then and was a little surprised.
