I need to bond the gas supply in my house and was going to do this with a blue wet area clamp inside the outdoor gas meter box through the wall and under the floor to the CU. There is however only a very short length of pipe inside the meter box and its hard to get at.

Is it acceptable to clamp the pipe as it leaves the box? This obviously will be outside the box and therefore completely unsheltered.

Also can i bond the lead water supply in the same run as long as i don't cut it but just unsheath it through the clamp?
