I have a Main combi 30 eco boiler that is 4 years old.
I have hot water going to the radiators as it should be however when I run the hot water taps the water runs hot for a minute then goes cold and then hot again. The temperature is reaching maximum 60c for the hot water then the boiler cuts out as if it is overheating. Can anyone suggest what to do? I have been told that it is the diverter vbalve while others say it is the plate heat exchanger that is blocked. Please help as its annoying when taking a bath.

If the radiators dont heat up during hot water use the the diverter valve is OK.

In that case its a blocked plate !

My Main combi E30 eco boiler is still playing up. I have noticed now that when I just run the hot water tap that the first radiator (in the bathroom) starts to get hot.The water runs hot through the tap for a minute or two then goes cold for a minute, then hot again.
I am also losing pressure every day and have to manually top up the water. Is this caused by a faulty diverter valve? or are the two issues unrelated?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance!!
Tony ;)
