Hello, can anyone advise of the meter tails are they 16/25mm? A Sharpie pen for reference is included. also what is the fuse likely to be... It's a meter from 1969, but all electrics upgraded 1998. Thanks for any help
(I'm aiming to get 2kw solar and battery installed) but the DNO needs to know about the tails are done, there is no marking on the fuse box. but I need to get the meter changed too ...Perhaps someone helpful could advise which to do first... Dno/tails/meter/solar panel. Or Maybe just leave it as is for an easy life haha. Thanks

I can't tell with double insulated cables their size, but my solar panels have removed the load on the DNO supply except when charging batteries off-peak. The latter is only a problem if I set it to charge too fast, and also run other items at the same time.

I have 6 kW of panels, and 6.4 kWh of battery, maximum charge rate is 4 kW, or 17.5 amps, in summer it means I use very little electric, the discharge is 6 kW so having a shower has dropped to using around 5 kW instead of 10 kW, winter it is down to how much I do in the 5 hours of off-peak supply.
