maintanance free car battery

My expierence with a calcium battery was, that the car I fitted it to was out of use for a considerable time, the battery went flat, no amount of coaxing would get it to recharge.

The battery was installed in my BMW unfortunately the boot had been left ajar, the boot light drained the battery, it was discovered about a month later, when I came to start the car, obviously the battery was completely discharged, and would not respond to being recharged, my fault my loss.
