Jack believes that all important industries should be state owned, that all businesses over a certain size should have to have employee and non-employee union reps on the board, that there should be legal limits on the ratios of lowest:highest paid, and that if any profit/share price/performance etc related bonuses are to be paid then all employees should receive the same percentage of their basic pay.
He also believes that society benefits from homogeneity and shared entho-cultural backgrounds, wants really strict controls on legal immigration with mandatory assimilation and a ban on Islam, and wants all illegal immigrants and asylum seekers arriving by irregular routes to be interned and deported as soon as possible.

Jill is a committed environmentalist, and regularly participates in pro-environment demonstrations, including disruptive ones. She believes that current net-zero plans are not going anywhere near fast or far enough. She wants to see all city/large town centres to be traffic free, "school run" car trips, even in EVs to be banned, and for everybody to have a personal carbon allowance with everything they do or buy set against it.
She is also very socially conservative. She thinks a man is a man and a woman is a woman, and that's it. She believes that homosexuality is a sin, that homosexual acts should be re-criminalised, that even the mention of the existence of homosexuality be banned in schools. She wants same-sex marriages be outlawed and existing ones forcibly annulled.
