Make Britain Great Again

How many years would 1924 - 1931 be?

I said 26-30 - I thought that he left the Labour Party in 1930, but that was when he resigned his ministerial position, he remained a Labour MP until early 1931.

He joined a "Labour" party in 1924, but it was not the "Labour Party" which everyone means when they use that term - the one of Ramsay MacDonald and Clement Attlee. He became an MP for them in 1926.

So 5 years, or 7 if you do include the affiliated ILP he joined in '24.

IHNI where motorbiking got 11 years from.

my source said 1920, another said 1922. Still 9 years.

At the start of 1920 he was a Tory MP - had been since 1918. During that year he resigned the Conservative whip and became an independent. He retained his seat in the Commons, as an independent, in the 1922 and 1923 general elections.

So he was a sitting MP when he switched again to join the Independent Labour Party in 1924. The ILP was affiliated to the Labour Party until 1932, so saying 7 years wouldn't be unreasonable, even if technically wrong, but not 9 or 11.

It doesn't take many changes to imagine a future historical text.

Reform was a Popular party that modelled its ideology on the British peoples wants, promoting opportunities for all, bringing back core British values, that had been lost, and a modern economic philosophy. These core tenets are fundamentally right.

Except I didn't write that, did I.

Why do you think it's OK to lie?

Why are you unable to argue in favour of your positions and beliefs without lying?

Are lies intrinsic to your positions and beliefs?
