Make glass translucent, cheaply?

Have couple of windows in garage and would like to make them transulcent so you people from outside cant really see in. Can you buy like tracing paper style stuff and stick on your window, or is there other options? Looking to do it cheap as can be. Nothing to fancy as its just garage windows!
 
You can up self adhesive frosted effect view vinyl. A local sign writer may also be able to sell you some
 
You can get stick-on films of various types, though I was surprised by the cost. You can also get a spray, which would be cheaper, but tends to scrape off.
 
OK, prices have fallen since 5 years ago (or I didn't look properly!)
 
I assume you mean opaque, rather than translucent. I'd be very surprised if the glass wasn't already translucent.
