Makerfield doubts

chose Reform's vote share increased from the 2024 GE - in that 68% chose something else.

And if you add Reform & Restore together, only 59% rejected that type of offering, and support for it increased by 47%.

My amateur psephology says

  • Turnout inchose creased because people were aware of the significance.
  • Labour's vote increased by the most, numerically, but Ref/Res had a bigger % increase (it seems reasonable in this case to look at their combined vote, as Restore was not an option in 2024, and they swim in the same swamp - I'm sure that most Restore votes were taken from Reform.
  • 1st & 2nd saw their votes increase, and we can see that it wasn't all down to the increased turnout.
  • I think there was significant "anyone but Reform" voting by erstwhile Lib Dems & Greens (and possibly some Tories - some of the old school ones, whilst they disagree with Labour on many things, are truly appalled by the racism and MAGA-style smash-and-burn of the Re- parties.)
as I said 65% of voted for something else..well done for proving that.

Your inability to grasp facts is not the asset you think it is.

Which proves the point.

John, you have been proved several times over to have told lies, and to have repeated other people's lies. Your facts, no matter how well presented and esoteric, are still often selected lies. Nobody needs a grasp of Marxist theories, loony-left immigration ideas or EU directives running to thousands of pages.

anyone else saying that, I might have listened.
They really aren't. Do you really think there are no decent MPs in parliament. I know of 3 in Somerset and Devon who are honest, hard working a thoroughly pleasant people.

Don't model every MP on dishonest rats like Farage, Tice and Jenrick.

It's like every other thing in life, one bad apple and the rest are tarred with the same brush

Only by those who have a habit of stereotyping the masses on the characterisitcs of the few.
That is their MO, and they do it intentionally to incite hatred and division.

They just haven't been caught yet, don't mistake getting away with it for being decent. I thought Nicola Sturgeon was the most clean of clean politician, I thought Mat Hancock was equally as nice. Nope they are all the same.

I was trying to make the point that the % of people choosing "something else" has declined, and the % choosing the something has increased.
I've no idea what you're trying to prove or disprove.

It's pretty rare for any winner to get over 50%, which by your argument appears to be when you think it's a valid outcome. By that logic we'd never have a government of any party.
