making a single light switch into a double light switch

I hace a pool light and a spa light connected to the same turn on/off switch I want to convert it to two separate switches. when i opened the box, i saw that there are only 2 black wires connected and the ground. I.m assuming the 2 lights were spliced at an earlier position in the wiring. How can I connect the 2 lights separetely at this point?

What box? The switch, or the lights? What you need to tell us is how many wires behind the switch and each of the lights.
