making a single Rad warm up slower than the rest

according to the paperwork i have it was never one pipe, the house was built 21 years ago, and when i moved in last year the heating was as was in 1988. just a bog standard gravity hot water pumped heating with glow worm mastermind controller and no room stat or cylinder stat. i have the original certificate in the "house folder" which was given to me by the old owners. its still the original boiler etc etc.

Some builder was being a real cheapskate! Fully pumped systems were normal, even in the 1980's (Honeywell patented the mid-pos valve in 1980). My house was built 1988 and it was fully pumped.

the whole estate from what i have seen has the same boiler fitted in the garage, i can see them when im driving down the street and peoples garages are open! corners where cut im sure
