Can someone please advise on the best material for a custom made door.

My situation is i have a kind of alcove in the kitchen which is housed under the staircase. I am going to put a condensed tumble dryer in there and wish to add either a single door or double doors both opening outwards.
A single door would be quite big in width and swing out taking up alot of free space.
A double door would be ideal but i can no put a door stop in middle of them as i would be blocking entrance to dryer.

Was think of putting a small block (100 sq/mm at the top and bottom as the door stop) with somekind of latch. Is this ok? I want the door to be pretty light (not a major issue) as its only purpose is to hide the dryer. And will the dryer have any effect on the type of material. condensation etc.

Rough measurement of the 2 doors will be 600mm x 450mm each

Thanks in advance for any advise
