Manrose shower light, does it replace normal light?

Hi all

I need to get an extractor fan fitted into my bathroom ceiling.

I came across this at screwfix

Is this supposed to replace the main bathroom light or is it intended to be an added bit of light?

If you already have downlights in the bathroom, it can replace ONE of them.

If you were thinking about this being the only light in the bathroom - think again. Useless.

If you don't have downlights already, just get a standard fan without a light.
