maon oven not working zanussi zuq 875

Just bought a new house which has zanussi zuq 875 double oven fitted. Top oven works perfectly. Bottom oven will not work. Timer is set and on manual. Doesn't matter which function I.e. oven of grill nothing happens even the light doesn't come on or the little red light which shows oven is heating up.

Any suggestions on this are welcome.

If as you have said the clock is set, then it could be the thermal cutout that is faulty and requires replacing or possible a loose/faulty connection on the clock.
