I have taken up floorboards in a small bathroom due to warping etc. Can I lay marble tiles directly on to say 25mm wbp or can I lay them straight on to 18mm Hardiebacker backerboard as Topps tiles recommended. Is there another combination that might be enough. Were talking about an area 2.2mx1.5m.
