Does anyone have any suggestions for what to use/how to mark out where stud walls will be going on a concrete floor (that will later be covered)?

I keep thinking chalk lines, but they will be blown away over the next week with the work that is to be done before the walls are made or spray paint, but that seems a bit ... primitive?

Many thanks!!

marker pen,BUT once you have defo decided where the walls are going or you will end up get confuzzed.

We use contractors spray paint. For more precise markings, spray the paint, let it dry then use pencil overlay onto the paint for definition.

We also have a laser which can fire a beam all around the room making marking out simpler and more accurate.

You can also use a plug and a screw or masonry (survey) nails to give a more permanent mark.
