Hi,

I've to install a very heavy 5 metres wide cross bar (I shape) between 2 brick walls.

There are 6 holes on each of the side bar (which is welded on the cross bar:- overall resulting in the shape of I).
The cross bar came with 12 of 14mm by 80mm stud type expansion bolts for the side bars.

Now the trouble is that I've installed 2 stud type expansion bolts on one side and while trying to mark the holes for the other wall, I noticed that the side bar won't go into the expansion bolts (as they would be protruding out) on both sides.

So I decided to get some high load bearing "bolt type" shield anchor bolts for the other side.

My questions are:
1. Would it be OK to have stud type expansion bolts on one side and bolt type shield anchor bolts on the other? Which ones are stronger/ more load bearing?
2. Shield Anchor bolts are quite confusing: Bolt type and Thru Shield. Which ones would I need?

3. For the fischer M10, what drill bit would I need?

Thanks..
