Mastic asphalt floor with ceramic floor tile.

I'm doing a bathroom floor with ceramic floor tiles on a sound mastic asphalt floor.
I've wire brushed and thoroughly cleaned the surface.

Question is I've got two unused bags of Bal rapid set mix yourself adhesive.
It's not flexible stuff however so is it no good for the job and should I buy a couple of bags of flexible stuff?

Rapidset is OK on asphalt floors. Just make sure its not too old

If it's a concrete floor then that should be fine,only need to use flexible adhesive if the floor has minor movement,floorboards for example.
Keep the quantities of adhesive to a workable size as rapid is no good after about 20-30mins
