Mastic tube storage

I came across this idea in an American DIY magazine, and it has saved me a lot of stress

If you have mastic tubes stored on a shelf, then you will know how they annoyingly get easily knocked and then knock loads of other things on their way to the floor

So with a bit of waste pipe and a couple of screws they can be stored out of the way, and you never have to search for the one you want ... which always seems to be at the back of the shelf

The thing is with using the shelf is that this takes up room.

What I like about this idea is that it allows the underside a shelf or cupboard to be used, and that frees up the shelf for more stuff - which helps for storage when you don't have much space

Not really, you can mount it sideways under a shelf. It's heavy, though.
