matsui dish washer not working

its a matsui m12f dw09
they have cleared the filter the outlet holes on the spray
apparently it starts up normally with first and last lights alight then after 1 min or so the third from left starts flashing and not a lot else any ideas please chaps

Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to get service info on Matsui products. They are not one of the most popular (or most reliable) appliances around.
Does it fill?, pump out?, does the wash motor run?, when it stops do they hear the drain pump still running?

thanks zipper it just makes a humming noise [as normal apparently]

should i ask them to leave on a cycle and see what happens

Hi Big-all, If the machine pumps out, fills, then just kind of freezes & makes a humming/buzzing sound it could well point to a problem with the wash motor (jammed impellor, defective capacitor, faulty motor). If drain pump runs continually then it sounds like there is a leak someplace. Unfortunately I can't dig up much info on Matsui but there do seem to be enough spares available. Might be an idea to take off the side plates & try a cycle to see what does (or doesn't) happen. Pour a couple of pints of water in the machine & run a cycle. It should pump everything out, fill, then wash. If it does the first two but stalls with the wash motor buzzing then that's the problem. If it starts to wash but then cuts out & engages the drain pump there is a good chance the wash motor seals are leaking. Sorry I couldn't be more forthcoming, Matsui service info isn't easy to track down.

i really need to check the amount off flow
my skills with washing machines is pre electronic
my skills with dish washers are well sink and bowl thanks again

its a fairly new machine a family off 3 so basic use
i will report back later when tests complete thanks again
