I am dot and dabbing a wall. The majority of the wall used to be an external pebble dash wall that is now internal. The other part of the wall is plain brick.
I have removed/scraped back the majority of the pebble dash.
The pebble dash sits proud by about 18mm . The thickness of the adhesive on the brick wall will end up swing about 25-30 mm. Will this be ok?
I have added a few battery's to mechanical fix when dry.

Should be fine at 25mm-30mm dabs. There is no specified maximum depth, a bit a common really. Make sure walls a free of grease, flakes and dust, if the walls a dry then I would recommend dampening them down slightly before application.
