I have had to open up my internal soil pipe to effect a fix.

It seems like a good time to renew the rather crappy boxing in.

Currently, it is done with 10mm plywood, the space is very tight (between the pipe and the inner board surface). And the available space is tight so it cannot go much over 10mm ideally as the door frame is nearby so it will look off.

I prefer to work with wood-based solutions rather than plasterboard. Also, I would like to leave it so I can open it up again if I need to (using those plastic bits over the screws).

If I go for MDF, should I use Moisture resistance, or could I affect this resistance by priming the entire sheet before use?

If not what material would you use (the surface will be painted not tiled)?
Also, I would like to leave it so I can open it up again if I need to (using those plastic bits over the screws).

MDF will be OK. Cut the pieces to size then prime them (the edges are most sensitive to damp). Or consider t & g upvc planks (as used in bathrooms)
