MDPE pipe size

I am going to lay new blue water pipe from the pavement up to my stop cock as i want to come off the lead feed.

Yorks water provide a 25mm connection, but i notice you can buy 20mm pipe as well as 25mm.

Just checking i will need the 25mm pipe, but what is the 20mm size for ?

Lay 32mm. Cater for the future. If not then go with 25mm as a minimum.

What does the bigger pipe size help with ? The water requirements into the house are not going to change.

Get them to give you a 32mm connection then.

I am only going on your very limited information. But why limit yourself? I know you're in Yorkshire but jeez.
