Hi all,

I'm wondering how people go about measuring out sand/gravel and cement for mixing. I don't mean finding the right ratios, but the actual measuring of the dry ingredients, especially for small amounts. Say I want to do a 10:1 mix for some light-duty paving. Just a slab or two. I can fill a bucket with sand to get the 10, but I can't really estimate when another bucket is 1/10th full of cement. So, any tips? It occurred to me to try to find a container 1/10th the size of the bucket, but that seems like a faff, especially when I'd need a different container for each ratio!

Thanks in advance
