I have a megaflo dd170 cylinder and just today found out the water has not heated up overnight like it should. Last time this happened was about 2 years ago and the electrician put a new part in the bottom one. I don't remember what he called it. Not sure if it was a thermostat or element thing....... :? I know this does not sound helpful but please can someone help by telling me where I could get another one from? Many thanks.

If its electrically heated then the element has probably failed or just possibly the thermost or timeclock.

Strictly all work on an unvented should be by someone with the right qualification. These are often help by plumbers/heating engineers but hardly ever by electricians.

They should also be serviced every year too.

Wow, that was a quick reply......thanks ever so much.......actually it was a plumber not an electrician that fixed it last time, sorry, I will give him another call and see what he says......just thought I might be able to buy the part cheaper online?? thanks again for VERY quick response...... :D
