Hi there,
I've recently moved into a flat that uses the megaflo dd170 immersion heater system. We have been turning on both switches to the heater each morning for 15 mins to heat the tank up and then turning it off. It looks as though this was the incorrect way as when turning it on today it made a loud pop and spark. It obviously now doesn't heat the tank and I'm guessing that a fuse has blown somewhere. I've checked my main fuseboard and nothing seems to have tripped. Is there anything I can do or do I need to call out an electrician? Also what would be the best/economic method of using this system once it works. Many thanks...
