Hi all,
Apologies in advance, have never had an electric hot water system before and don't fully understand how it's meant to work and don't have any manuals etc!
I have a Heatrae Sadia Megaflo tank in my airing cupboard. It seems to heat water up overnight fine, but once you've used what's in the tank during the day you won't get any more hot water until the next day. A couple of reasonable length showers in the morning seems to be enough to do this and it's pretty frustrating having no more hot water!
Is this how it's supposed to work? I would've thought there would at least be the option to get it to heat during the day also. I'm on a SuperDeal electricity tariff which is like a fancy Economy 7 that charges different rates for day elec, night elec, and stored heat elec (for the storage heaters). Could this be something to do with it? i.e. the power to it is switched at some point.
Many thanks for any help you can provide, if I'm not giving enough information then let me know!
Cheers,
Dan
