does anyone work in the trade or have any autodata wiring diagrams for a 98 megane 1.9dti,looking for the charging system mainly,had a fault where the rev counter would drop off and the charge light would come on but now its cleared,suspect dodgy wiring and the haynes manual is worse than useless

Probably the resistor pack that bolts onto the back of the alternator

yep, would have to agree, sounds like the alternator, check the neg lead on it also, renults are notorious for this fault
