Have Melamine kitchen suite. I wanted to paint them. Primed them first with a Tile and Melamine Primer, which claims to make the surface paintable. Then got a water based Satinwood, which claimed to cover i oe coat, but as usual failed to do so. Gave it the 2 coats and it covered. Only thing is, the slightest touch and the paint comes away. Is there a good way to seal it now to protect the finish? Something similar to a perfectly clear varnish? Any suggestions?
