you can fit MEM breakers from the Memera 2000 or the Memshield 2 range

they are exactly the same size (but have bigger capacity terminals which is OK)

Unlike the AD range they can be upgraded to RCBOs since the pod fits.

quite right

Memshield 2 Current ratings available :- 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 13, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50 & 63A.
The range is available with types B, C and D

has mem 2000 ad wrote on board and single rcd protection so assuming this is correct many thanks :)

I think I can smell a shower, so the Memshield RCBO might be better

this is notifiable work

or any proper electrical wholesaler in your town

they can sell you a 50A type B MCB, and a 30mA RCBO pod and you can clip them together (they will probably not have the one you want in stock ready-assembled)

If necessary I could get a pod off my garage shelf but I don't suppose I've got a B50.

The RCBO Pod will not clip onto the AD range MCBs as the AD is a budget range.

If you go for a pod, you need the MBH or ALB MCB, not the AD.

RCBO's are not cheap.

MEM do now produce an AD RCBO which is cheaper than the commercial range - I think the trade price is around £25.
