Installed panel about 10 years ago. Recently 1.6A supply fuse blew.

Discovered that the primary was down to about 4ohms, and would blow a fuse without secondary connected to the board.

Replaced the supply transformer (& battery) and everything was fine . . . for about three hours. Then the 1.6A fuse went again.

The panel is obviously pulling too much current - any ideas?

Error, sorry

what bell box is on the system ? has it got a nicad battery in there ? either remove or try your panel with the bell box disconnected.
