Menvier ts800, adding 2 contacts and a pir.

Hi,
I have a Menvier Ts800r with seven out of eight zones used and one free.
Can I add two door contacts to the spare zone, and add a pir to an existing pir circuit without needing the Engineer code ? None of the zones are ever omitted btw.

Cannot see why not, but you wont know which one has tripped when doubled up on a zone, thats the only drawback.

No it defaults to user reset on tamper IIRC.

After closer inspection I found all eight zones are used and expansion board's are no longer available. Been down to the local security shop and got an R8. Only £140 for everything I need. Sorted. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
