I custom ordered a 32x 80 inch door. But apparently when you say 80 inch it really means 79 inch. Because 79 inch is standard. SO my door is a custom-standard door not a custom-custom door. But if I return it, I have to pay a re-stocking fee. Because at the very bottom of my paper work it says actual size. (WTF!?! Not really happy about that.) Anyway, the door frame is 79 3/4 inch, the threshold is poured cement, the door is metal. I was thinking of hanging the door with the gap at the top and putting another head jamb on the outside of the door to cover the gap. Then putting a 3/4 inch piece above the door on the inside. Anyone see an issue with that?
