Methods of Installation.

Hello All,
Out of curiosity, lets say you are running a twin and earth cable from the CU in conduit (up 2m into a ceiling), clipping it to a joist in an insulated loft, then inside capping down to a 'point', which method would you consider it ?

If it were running in contact with insulation for more than 500mm, then Method 4.

If not in contact with insulation, Method 3.

If embedded direct into plaster or masonry, Method 1.

I suppose what I meant to say is do you put all the methods used in the circuits 'wiring' (in that tiny space on test forms ) ??

No, just the most severe, I expect, because when you design a circuit, you use the most severe method in the calculation.
