Hi, I viewed a house today which had a ferroli combi boiler and standard 15cm pipes but in the extention there was a rad with microbore pipes. The seller said all the central heating had been installed at the same time, is it a good idea to mix the two systems, how would it work and could there be problems on the horizon. Should work fine as long as the system is balanced correctly.
