Good morning all .

I have a 11 year old Miele Novotronic W1511
We have F53 fault code coming up .

Is it time we chucked it away or work fixing.

Thank you Richard. I bit the bullet and brought a new Grundig. It was 11 years old

I say to customers if their boiler is 10 years old best not to spend to much money on it. If was likely to be a PCB so just took my own advise really.

Fair enough.

However my Miele is 18(?) years old now. I have only had to replace the brushes (twice, actually one and a half times). The build quality is lovely, proper torx screws and polished edges and so on. The PCB did fail after a year and a half. Miele's customer support were pretty bloody poor, I was genuinely surprised.

I, erm, convinced them to replace the PCB by using sleight of hand.
