Miele T8322 tumble dryer not heating up

I have a Miele T8322 tumble dryer that is not heating up. I have ordered and replaced the heating unit - I believe this has a thermostate included. It is still not heating up. I can turn it on and it spins but then finishes after a short period of time and is never hot. Please can you help?
