Hi, I have Miele W2584 washing machine and the "check inlet" and "check drain" lights are flashing, when I disconnect the water hose, there was not any water in the hose which is unusual isn't it? Normally there's some water in the hose when disconnecting so I'm guessing may need a new Aqua Stop Water Inlet Valve?

I had that problem with a W504 a few years ago. I found that the float switch inside at the bottom had been activated.
The issue with my machine was that the door seal had a tear and water had leaked into the machine.
