We have a two year old Miele WT2789 on which the dryer stopped working and lots of white residue in machine after a wash. Struggled to contact Miele UK, they won't answer the telephone and their website is a joke. Engineer came today and found the dryer fan had seized. The discussion inferred the problem was down to how the machine had been used. The fan motor and ducting looked like it came from something 20 years old. The fact that the dryer could be run with no error code showing with the fan seized and tripped out beggars belief.
To say this machine is disappointing is an understatement, it is certainly not worth the money and best of luck to anyone trying to get support from Miele. Come back Bosch, all is forgiven.
