miele washing machine - no power

no juice getting to washing machine when I turn it on - it was fine and in use last week with no issues. have tried it via another power source and still no power is getting to it
does it sound like a fuse issue? many thx

Have you tried a new fuse?

no - will pick one up tomorrow - saying that have just found some 13 amp fuses in the cupboard - is one of these ok to try?

Try and take one from a working appliance eg your kettle.

nothing - still dead totally

no power getting to washing machine

drained excess water from the front bottom left hand access point

there was a yellow plastic bit in there that I pulled to open the door

closed the door and machine came back to life.......

any ideas re the cause Andy
