i am always renovating old tools and machinery and i was going to sell the small lathe and buy a milling machine, then i had this idea.
In some warships where space was a premium, lathes were often mounted vertically.

used it last week. cut a keyway in a new shaft i was making for my lathe, I was a bit shocked at how well it worked.
You've done a fine job my first trade was a maintenance fitter and I worked in huge machine shop I would love a miller so versatile
