I've got a £300 Bosch recip but I would use my angle grinder for that job. PPE, plan the cut to avoid it jamming the blade - a cheap cordless would probably be better although when my 900w Bosch has jammed it's just hummed till I could quickly switch it off.
Still not used the saw tbh. I actually just cut the bolt between the arm and hub. I did it with a multi tool. Problem is, multi tool was excellent for access (it's tight!!!!) but takes an age to get through. Any advice on what I can use to cut through the other bolt at a faster speed?
