BCO turned up this morning, no problem with moving soil stack and wasn't even interested in waste lengths etc. 
Good news all round really because I am having 5.5m of folding sliding doors fitted and didn't want to have ugly trickle vents fitted (they also cost an extra £300). There is a normal 1800mm window in the room and he said as long as the normal window has trickle vents that will be sufficient for the whole room. I was half expecting him to say I would need to install an air brick but he said not required.
