Mini Cooper wiper size ?

I need to replace wiper blades on a 2005 Cooper. On trawling the 'net I find that the drivers side is stated @ 18" and the passenger size @ 19". Have measured mine, they are both 19"...am I doing something wrong ? ?

So long as the blades don't catch eachother, or flap over the edges of the screen, the longer ones will be fine.
Maybe they've been replaced at sometime in the past, if the sizes you have are correct.

replaced the wipers on my missus car a while back and they were 18 one side and 19 the other. have a look on halfords website and punch in the car details

It's the other halfs car here too. The one snag we've found is a noisy squeak at times ( the wipers !) wonder if the 19" mistake could be the problem. Halfords do say 18 + 19.
