Hey,
have a .8 Tonne digger hired for the weekend to try level my garden.
Anyone got any tips on best ways to level off rough ground?
Do you just use the snow plough or do you wave the bucket across the soil to effectively rake the topsoil.
Have never driven one of these so dont want to waste too much time doing the wrong thing aswell as trying to learn to drive the damn thing!!
Cheers,
Martin.

you want a 900mm grading bucket fitted to the digger.

using the dozer blade is ok but slow and one dimensional.

grading is quite difficult to learn but with practice you will get the hang of it. you will need a steady hand as you need to lift/lower the boom, drag the arm in/push out and trim the bucket all at the same time.

Cheers guys...a mate came and drove it for me..made a fine job too!
thanks,
Marty.
