We want to install a hot water cylinder in a cupboard underneath an existing fuse box. Is there a minimum distance between the two? It would be possible to make two separate cupboards with the fuse box above and cylinder below if that helps.

my guess would be as long as the box is easily accessable and safe to use then a few inches would be fine
by safe to use i mean no chance off scalding or errant water
would also think you need to be able to reach it comfortably without over stretching but these are purely guesses as i am a chippie
