– back and sides?

I live in Brent (London) and was wandering will Brent Council have there own minimum distance guidelines? I'm thinking of a rear dormer which cannot be seen from the street and obviously I want to maximise the space.

I've had a look on here and google and can't find anything related. I see in Mapesbury conservation area which is close by the distance is set at 500mm but a potential builder told me it must be at least 800mm.

Cheers in advance!

800mm is usually the min distance from internal floor to bottom of window. There is a max distance from eaves to dormer, not sure there's a min.

Only way to be sure is to contact planning dept, they'll tell you all you need to know.

Don't understand the question. Distance of what from what?
