I am in the process of installing a low profile shower tray 1200mm x 800mm.

The plan was to set the tray in the corner with the exposed 1200mm edge being glazed with a 12000mm single frameless glass panel.

This would mean the shorter 800mm edge will be open to the room with no door. We have purchased a shower rose that we estimate will sit 400mm into the 1200mm of the shower - leaving about 800mm free to the shower edge.

My question is does anyone think that this will be sufficient to catch any splashes that might occur when the shower is being used? And if I haven't underestimated the volume of water, will a bath mat be enough to catch what does escape.

I'd rather not fit a door on the end if possible as we like the idea of the easy access route into the shower.
