What is the minimum amount of time that you could expect to lay Amtico on a newly laid screed (about 3mm)? I've had a screed put down (on top of asphalt) and the floor was then primed 2hrs later, and Amtico laid an hour after that. Think screed was water-based but not 100% sure. The humidity in my house is generally quite high anyway (around 65-70%) due to where I live so I was surprised that it had dried quickly enough for the Amtico to go down.

I'm just curious, what happens if there is excess moisture trapped in the screed, or is this not likely to be cause for concern?

normally it will cause the glue to break down etc, BUT there is a compound out there that can be laid on after 90 mins or so.

What compound was used?
