See appendix 6 in BS7671:2008
1) New spur for boiler in kitchen
2) Replacement pump, m/valves, roomstat, cylinder stat, programmer etc.
3) New wiring to existing heating controls.
4) New wiring for new heating controls.
5) New lighting circuit from existing.
6) New lighting circuit from c unit.
That type of works.

That's not minor works.
What would No 6 be classed as then ?.
Electrical installation certificate.
If it is in a domestic dwelling it is notifiable to you LABC too.
If it is in a domestic dwelling it is notifiable to you LABC too.
A few of those things will be notifiable depending where the work is being carried out, i.e. if it involves additions in a kitchen or bathroom of lighting, spurs etc.
